INTRODUCTION:

Coomera Anglican College provides seamless education - from Childcare to Secondary, where children are well looked after in a safe, secure and nurturing environment. Coomera Anglican College sees itself as much are than just a college, because children will, potentially, spend a great many of their formative years with them. Not only is CAC an integral part of children's lives and the lives of their families but the college shares a strong sense of community.  Coomera Anglican College is very much mindful of the fact that Coomera is the biggest growth region, in the largest growth corridor of Australia.  As such, the College is a leader actively involved in promoting the region as a whole for business, lifestyle and education. 

OBJECTIVES:

The pre-existing site was difficult to manage with a high level of web programming expertise required to update pages.  It was also very expensive to administer.  There was too much delay between supplying content to the web manager, to when it was live on the site, plus the graphics were dated, and navigation too deep and confusing.  As a highly informative site, CAC needed structured simple navigation and software functionality that allowed the site administrator to display and manage content easily, without losing valuable information.  The colege also needed to market to their entire database; students, parents, potential parents, businesses etc.  It was imperative that the new system be user friendly and above all cost effective.  Plus they wanted to encourage parents to use the site more for payments, viewing the event calendar and logging onto the secure network.  Inevitably, lowering administration costs.

SOLUTIONS:

As a consequence, a new site was developed for Coomera Anglican College offering the following:

• Receiving regular newsletters,
• Search easily and find information on the site,
• Pay for school fees,
• View and book for up coming school events,
