Are you using Internet Explorer? Hacker warning released

A warning has come from MICROSOFT, that hackers are targeting a freshly uncovered weakness in some earlier versions of its Internet Explorer web browser software.

Cyber attackers have been taking advantage of a hole in Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Explorer 7, which Microsoft is currently investigating.

Hackers could use the flaw to remotely seize control of computers. The new Internet Explorer 8 web browser is reported to be free of this hole for hackers.

No matter which web browser people use, upgrading to the most current version promises to increase protection against hackers.

Upgrading your web browser is FREE.

Follow any of the below links to upgrade your web browser today.

BUT BEFORE YOU DO . . . myiHub has some suggestions to make your web browsing experience quicker, more secure and easier.

How myiHub rates current Web Browsers

1. Firefox

At myiHub, our preferred web browser is Firefox. Why? Because it is the faster, more secure, and fully customizable. Firefox will work with pretty much any site on the Web (we get too many page loading errors for out liking) and you can do more with Firefox than you can with the other browsers. Firefox will automatically sync with your current browser and copy your favourite folders and quicklinks.

2. Google Chrome

Google Chrome is the youngest player in the web browser race and is considered to be one of the fastest web browser around. Chrome was also the only browser that wasn't cracked in seconds or minutes in the recent PWN2OWN hacker competition. But to us, it lacks the web experience that Firefox offers. Maybe because ... Chrome is only young and we are still getting used to it.

3. Internet Explorer

The most common web browser found on pretty much every computer in town ... and outside. The reason for this is ... wait for it ... it comes already installed on your computer. The bottom line is ... It’s soooooo slow, we get too many page errors and some things choose not to load. If you feel uncomfortable or are too scared changing web browser, that’s ok, but you need to keep up to date with the latest version, as they offer better security and faster browsing. (as well as some pretty neat feature updates)

4. Safari

Are you using a Mac? Than this is the right browser for you. Are you using a PC? Than this could also be the right browser for you. Safari has never interested us, but reading around forums, it seems this one could be the fastest web browser out at the moment.
